Lyon, France's Gastronomy Capital (Nov 7, 2025)

We left Annecy by bus (Flixbus) for the roughly two-hour trip to Lyon.  I'm glad we transferred here last week when we went to Annecy--the bus station seemed a little less confusing.  Taking a bus isn't as interesting as taking the train (IMO), so I didn't take too many photos of this portion.

We also stayed at another Campanile hotel which was in a great location--close to the transit, a quick walk to the river, and a lot of nearby restaurants.  After dropping our luggage off at the hotel (check-in was at 2:00 pm), we started looking around town.

By this time, we were ready to get back to the hotel and check in.  We did that, had a quick dinner, and then got some sleep for tomorrow's adventures.
