A Gaudi Day (Sep 15, 2025)

Antoni Gaudí was a Catalan architect from Spain, with most of his work located in Barcelona.  We saw a lot of his work on our 2017 visit, but today we just took another look at the Sagrada Familia and some of his other work.

This was after lunch--Fe with a view along Gaudí Avenue

Gaudí's Casa Battló, also called the House of Bones

Casa Lleó i Morero, by Modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner

Next we went to the famous La Rambla, which was very crowded so we didn't stay long walking on it, but we did check out Mercat de la Boqueria.

Market stalls

That's all we did today--just like our last slow travel trip, I am still getting used to not cramming everything into a few days but it's nice not to be so rushed.
