Entrance (the one we used, anyway)
Fe and I with the pyramid
Fe in the courtyard
There's a whole underground mall beneath the museum, which we didn't get to see the last time we were here. It also has what's called a "secret entrance" to the Louvre where the line isn't as long, but I think it was closed when we were there.
The inverted pyramid
Fe is stronger than I thought.
After this, we headed to Notre Dame. Since it was still being reconstructed after the fire when we were here last, we didn't get to go inside. We fixed that this time.
Paris City Hall on the way.

Unless you want a guided tour, don't pay for tickets--entry to the cathedral is free. The line was long, but it moved quickly. You can get a free timed ticket on the official website (link above) to avoid the wait, but it wasn't bad when we went.
View of the City Hall from across the Seine (Notre Dame is on Île de la Cité)
It was time to eat, so we walked to the neighboring island, Île Saint-Louis.
Produce shop
Crêperie
Sorza restaurant next door
Our crepes: I got lemon, Fe had Nutella
Here are some random pics from earlier in the day:
Fe at the Bastille metro stop
The station is covered with tiles that were installed in 1989 on the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution.
Saw this at a Quick restaurant in a mall.
Naturally, I bought some--plus the cool hat.
Another day ended and we're glad to be back at the apartment. I know I've said it before, but it was great to see things from our earlier trip with more time to discover things we may have missed.
Planning for tomorrow's sights.
